Why Faculty Outreach? Faculty engagement is a top reason why high-achieving students choose an institution. Research shows that admitted students seek authentic connections with the institution beyond admissions staff. A faculty member or academic expert reaching out, even by voicemail, can make a significant difference.
To stand out in the admission cycle, we must describe our personalized academic experience, including faculty relationships, teaching styles, internships/research opportunities, program highlights, and student accolades.
Timelines: Prospective Freshmen: September – December Prospective Transfer: January – March Admitted Freshmen: March – April Admitted Transfers: April – June You may want to complete multiple outreach campaigns for different student types. Each campaign request should be submitted separately. Please allow at least two weeks for admissions to complete the request. Thank you!
